PhRMA also has a history of donating to labor unions and pro-union groups. They have contributed to organizations such as the IBEW Local 2320, NYS Building & Construction Trades Council, Building & Construction Trades Department of the AFL CIO, totaling over $197,000.

PhRMA has also been supportive of groups that advocate for amnesty for illegal immigrants. These groups support a “pathway to citizenship” for many of those in the United States illegally.
